Join our team as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor

at our residential facility, managing a caseload of clients and helping them on their recovery journey. Your role includes creating individualized treatment plans, offering support, and identifying contributing factors. Ideal candidates are compassionate, have excellent communication skills, and experience in substance use counseling.

Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of clients

Identify underlying factors and create personalized treatment plans

Support clients and their families

Facilitate group sessions and individual counseling

Collaborate with clinical staff

Maintain professional demeanor and documentation

Adhere to BHDDH regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR)

Knowledge of substance use counseling

Familiarity with DSM-5, ICD-10, and ASAM criteria

Licensure with the state desired

Compassionate, upbeat, and positive personality

BA in related field or 2 years experience in substance use settings

Certifications:

Independent Clinical License, Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional (LCDP), LMHC, or LICSW
