Job ID: 2695815 | Amazon.com Services LLCOur Tech Category Team is looking for a Senior Category/Commodity Manager that has experience with sourcing networking components from manufacturers such as Cisco. This is a role that has exposure at VP+ level and that can influence sourcing strategy for networking components at a Pan-Amazon level, and is also responsible for procurement spend through category management, negotiation of global supplier contracts, increasing our diverse and small business supplier base, and continuously improving our supplier performance.

Key job responsibilities

Identify, develop and deliver long term sourcing strategies, lead key initiatives with cross-functional teams; drive the decision making process of the category roadmap with senior leadershipDrive commercial relationships with suppliers, with a principal objective of achieving optimal cost and performanceLead supplier performance management; including improving sustainability & social responsibilityCoordinate and collaborate with global/local teams to deploy and manage the implementation of your defined strategiesInfluence suppliers’ roadmaps, design, processes, technology decisions and strategiesLead complex and cross-functional projects productivity, sustainability and innovationsInnovate in an autonomous way and deliver new approaches that impact the bottom and the top lineBASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree- 5+ years of program or project management experience- 5+ years of supply chain experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related fieldAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
