A law firm is seeking an employee benefits associate attorney to join its team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience with ERISA and employee benefits, including a strong background in qualified plans, multiemployer plans, health and welfare plans, and ACA compliance. The candidate must possess outstanding credentials and demonstrate a deep understanding of the intricacies of employee benefits law.Key Responsibilities:Provide legal counsel on ERISA and employee benefits matters, including qualified plans, multiemployer plans, and health and welfare plans.Advise clients on compliance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and other relevant regulations.Represent clients in mergers and acquisitions, ensuring that employee benefits issues are effectively addressed and integrated.Handle employee benefits matters in corporate restructuring, including due diligence, analysis, and implementation.Draft, review, and negotiate employee benefit plans and executive compensation documents.Collaborate with clients to design, implement, and maintain employee benefits programs that align with business objectives.Provide strategic advice on regulatory changes impacting employee benefits and retirement plans.Conduct employee benefits audits and risk assessments to ensure federal and state laws compliance.Manage client relationships, providing timely and responsive legal advice on employee benefits issues.Work closely with other practice areas within the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients.Requirements:2-4 years of experience in ERISA and employee benefits law.Significant experience in M&A and restructuring within the employee benefits practice area.Strong knowledge of qualified, multi-employer, and health and welfare plans.In-depth understanding of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and related compliance requirements.Experience with drafting and negotiating employee benefits-related agreements.Proven ability to manage multiple clients and complex projects simultaneously.Outstanding academic credentials.Admission to the Texas State Bar or ability to obtain admission promptly.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Texas State Bar (or eligibility for admission).Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Proficient in legal research tools and software.Client-focused with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.Location:Houston, TXCompany infoBCG Attorney Search10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100HoustonTexasUnited States 77042Phone :
