We are a successful small accounting, tax and business advisory firm with an immediate opening for a full-time CPA with 5+ years of current public accounting experience.
Excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual with the potential to lead to an equity interest in the firm.
Job Responsibilities
Tax preparation and review of: Individual, Corporations, Partnerships, Fiduciary, Multi-State individual and business returns.
Preparation of tax projections and tax planning for individuals and business entities.
Resolution of client tax notifications and inquiries by the IRS or State Revenue Authorities.
Ability to supervise other staff and possess strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and develop relationships with client personnel.
Requirements
CPA or candidate with 5+ years of current public accounting experience.
Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Familiarity with UltraTax and Thomson Reuters Products is a plus.
Exceptional commitment to detail.
Superior interpersonal communication and analytical skills.
Ability to work with various clients/jobs simultaneously, meet required deadlines, and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.
Possess critical thinking, time management, and decision-making skills.
