Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence.Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects.Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome.Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings.Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions.Problem Solver - our clients come to you with problems and you need to ease their minds with a solution.Knowledge of estate planning and criminal defense is a plus.Qualifications:
Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus.Ability to use Microsoft Office is required.Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required.Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must.Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred.Compensation:
$85,000 - $200,000 yearly DOE
