Senior Site Manager

Position SummarySr Site Manager responsible for managing large complex projects within Vanderlande.ManagementLead and manage the on-site installation team on large and complex projects according to C05 process.Draw up the project installation plan containing objectives, organization, planning, and cost calculations in consultation with the Project Manager.Monitor and manage quality, time, costs, and provision of information.Identify and analyze potential problems, risks, and opportunities; initiate adequate corrective and preventive actions.Manage the interaction of site work with all stakeholders.Recognize and report opportunities.Advise and manage contracts of all subcontractors and suppliers.Develop and implement new methods, techniques, tools, and practices.Provide proper reporting to the customer, PM, and head office.Coach lower-level site managers and supervisors.Enter new or running projects in all stages.Job RequirementsKnowledge of Vanderlande equipment and systems.Safety awareness for the assigned scope.Knowledge of all necessary software.Contract management and team leadership.Project planning and site organization.International and multicultural awareness.Continuous improvement.3-7 years in the MHE industry managing site-based construction.Preferred QualificationsFour-year college degree in a technical field.Material handling system experience.Logistical management experience.OSHA Certification.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDemonstrable leadership skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to plan and organize.Decisiveness.Perseverance.Result-driven.Safety awareness.Group-oriented leadership.Ability to adapt and solve problems.Flexible and able to adapt.Analytical and strategic thinking.Resource planning and site organization.TravelExpected to travel 95% of the time.
