A law firm is seeking a Junior Litigation Associate Attorney for their San Diego, CA office.Job Overview:
The Junior Litigation Associate Attorney will assist senior attorneys in all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and court appearances. They will also conduct legal research, analyze case law, and assist in case strategy development.Duties:
Assist senior attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.Draft legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, and discovery requests.Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues related to ongoing cases.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts as necessary.Assist in case strategy development and implementation.Attend court proceedings and hearings as required.Participate in case management and organization.Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar.Strong academic credentials with a focus on litigation coursework preferred.Experience in litigation practice is desirable.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct.
