Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.
Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure high availability and performance.
Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Automation, and Azure DevOps.
Perform regular system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of resources, and review system and application logs.
Develop scripts and policies to automate systems administration, monitoring activities, and routine tasks.
using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Go.
Serve as the primary administrator for Microsoft Intune and Autopilot to manage all company endpoints, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
Automate endpoint deployment to achieve maximum efficiency, aiming for minimal manual intervention.
Implement and manage security measures using cloud native security tools.
Contribute to regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to incidents promptly.
Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures.
Generate regular reports on system performance, security, and cost optimization.
Manage Internet-facing web presence, including DNS, MX, and domain name registrations.
Support firewalls and VPNs.
Collaborate with development teams to support and automate release and deployment processes.
Support the IT Help Desk that assists a distributed workforce, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
Stay updated on IT industry developments and integrate them into future IT infrastructure and operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Azure cloud operations, DevOps, system administration, cloud engineering, AWS, or a related role.
Strong experience with Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) or other IAM tools.
Experience with infrastructure such as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, or Ansible.
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bicep, or related automation tool.
Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in cloud environments.
Excellent working knowledge of Windows server and Active Directory technologies
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD tools, and associated processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with Dynamics 365 or M365 environments.
Ability to plan and implement change for enterprise systems and adhere to standard change management processes.
Ability to mentor and educate IT Help Desk and other team members in areas of technical expertise and problem solving.
3+ years network troubleshooting (i.e DNS, security groups, VOIP, WAP, firewalls)
