LOCATION: 4200B Pleasant Valley Road, Chantilly, VA 20151
HOURS: Day Shift with flexibility to support evening shift

In this role, you will:Partner with the division HR team on initiatives to include Engagement and Retention, Policy Alignment, and Talent Attraction & AcquisitionManage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct effective, thorough and objective investigationsHandle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewingProvide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)Consult with managers and supervisors in providing HR guidance and policy interpretationMaintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory complianceCoordinate with in recruitment process, including managing requisition approvals, coordinating employment offers and onboarding/orientation of new hiresUse available metrics to make business recommendations and decisionsCoordinate delivery of training and coaching programs and participate in the evaluation and monitoring training programsAddress basic benefits questions/concerns and coordinating with central benefits staff as appropriate for open enrollment and other benefits issuesPlan, organize and facilitate employee eventsServe as a key liaison with third parties/vendors and other stakeholders, as neededExemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organizationAll you need is:
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field of study requiredMinimum four (4) years of Human Resources experience including a combination of Employee Relations, Training, Recruitment, and Compensation/BenefitsAbility to work independently and make sound judgment callsPleasant customer service orientation and professional demeanorDemonstrated experience using effective interpersonal skills, listening, diplomacy, and tact to build strong professional relationshipsAdvanced MS Office skills to include Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience with Workday, a plusPeriodic travel within the division territoryProfessional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM certification, a plusWe'll give you:
