Architecture / Engineering Design Project Manager

We currently have a great assignment for an A/E Design Project Manager. This individual will support our client, a facility engineering and design company supporting federal and local government agencies. Job Responsibilities

The A/E Design Project Manager will become the leader of our client’s engineering design team in Severna Park, MD. The A/E Design Project Manager will manage multiple simultaneous A/E design projects.

Responsibilities of the A/E Design Project Manager include:

• Managing federal IDIQ contract, to include client management
• Overseeing and leadership of a 6-8 person in-house design team, various subcontractors and consultants
• Planning, coordinating and managing all MEP project activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes and specifications
• Developing, reviewing and approving MEP design and construction documents
• Coordinating and collaborating with project stakeholders, including architects, structural engineers and contractors to ensure project goals are met
• Conducting site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications
• Monitoring and managing project budgets and schedules
• Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and team members
