Wi-Fi SI EngineerLocation:
Sunnyvale, CAKey Responsibilities:Design and develop Wi-Fi software features for Comcast Wi-Fi gateway products.Work with vendors to integrate Wi-Fi chipset solutions.Collaborate with other teams to design and deliver unique customer features on top of Wi-Fi for Comcast products.Optimize Wi-Fi performance.Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot customer issues.Basic Qualifications:5+ years of hands-on experience in delivering Wi-Fi switch products.Experience in Wi-Fi development and debugging for L1/L2.Knowledge of IEEE802.11/Wi-Fi protocols such as WPA, RADIUS, WPS, 802.11n/ac, etc.Strong knowledge of TCP/IP internals and common network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, HTTP, etc.Expertise in common networking protocols and hands-on experience with VPN.Expertise in C and embedded Linux.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering.Strong problem-solving skills.Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience with Wi-Fi solutions vendors or major Wi-Fi chipset vendors.Wi-Fi driver development experience.7+ years of experience in software development, preferably in C/C++.Experience with Yocto.Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
