Contract to HireRequired Skills:Stored procedures/Functions/ Trigger DevelopmentQuery optimization, Execution plan AnalysisMS SQL Server Job setupShould Have:Database capacity planningResponsibilities:Design database for OLTP and OLAP applicationsDefine database standards for tables, columns, indexesHandle the daily responsibilities of supporting the build and release needs of Agile scrum teamsProvide guidance to cross-team and team members in database best practices and proceduresSupport all pre-production, managed environments for middleware services and applicationsDeploy code and other proactive maintenance activities to keep the services up and runningOwn specific deployment problems and provide active coordination between various groups including internal and external groups in resolving a specific problemWork with Development, QA and other teams to understand changes to the existing production environment on an ongoing basis and for environment supportUpdate documentation that communicates standards and best practices of the engineering teamImplement metrics, Success Factors and Key Performance Indicators for the process and the teamQualifications
Qualifications:BS in Computer Science or equivalent3+ years of experience in Database Programming/ManagementExcellent analytical and communication (both verbal and written) skillsInnovative thinking and visionSolid understanding of technologyAbility to meet deadlines and be accountableMust have a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and initiativeExperience with agile software development methodologies (scrum etc)Good written and oral communication skills
