Full-timeTelecommunications EquipmentLocation: SunnyvaleExperience: 5-7 yearsRelocation: AvailableBonus: YesVisa candidates welcomeJob DescriptionWe are searching for an individual to lead reliability activities in the Optical Integrated Circuit Group (OICG). The individual would lead reliability program efforts and team coordination to develop and qualify highly reliable products consisting of Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC), ASICs, and optical Modules.The candidate should be highly experienced with Telcordia qualification of opto-electronic components and have mastery over planning and executing all facets of a reliability program including reliability modeling, reliability test plan development, burn-in program development, definition of reliability test HW, verification testing, and risk assessment/mitigation methods. The candidate should be experienced with photonic device design and fabrication methods, statistical modeling of reliability data, and cross-functional communication to be effective in this position that engages with numerous segments of the company.Responsibilities:Lead the reliability team efforts to develop/execute reliability and qualification programs for new productsDevelop reliability test HW, test processes, and burn-in processesEstablish/maintain reliability models to project over-life performance and FIT of the productEstablish/maintain reliability specifications for new and existing productsDefine and execute reliability verification testsAssess risk for new and existing products and mitigation methodsPerform failure mode analysis (FMA) and Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA)Support ongoing quality needs of released productsInstitutionalize reliability processes and document product qualification in standard reportsLead efforts to maintain product quality and respond to process deviationsInteract with designers and engineers within and across departments to optimize performance and reliabilityIndividual contributor role with managerial opportunityPosition Requirements:Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering (electronics, electro-optics), Materials Science, Photonics, or Physics (optics, semiconductors)Minimum 5 years of industry experience in qualification/reliability program managementTechnical competency in photonic device physics and principles of integration and fabricationAptitude to work with a large body of data, perform statistical analysis, and present data and ideas to a diverse audience is expectedExperience in the development of reliability test hardwareExcellent teamwork and communication skillsAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Direct Staffing Inc
