ContractAmerica Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in any Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste management space. We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management. Our founders are hardcore telecommunications engineers with combined 200 + years of experience in designing, optimizing and performance engineering for several mid–large wireless carriers internationally, that saw a need to provide low power, cost efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions. We have combined these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to provide clients various options to decrease re-occurring costs associated with operating an IoT network of sensors and connected devices. We specialize in design, deployment, optimization, and support of these Networks. Whether an off-the-shelf or custom solution is needed, we’ll create a solution and push the data on the best cloud platform to fit your needs, including your own.Dfw Airport-TX-USAStorage Operations Engineer (Implementation and Support)Job Duties:Implementation and support of Storage Infrastructure (NetApp Clustered Data OnTAP, NetApp Santricity, HPE 3-PAR, EMC VNX/VMAX, Cisco MDS SAN, Brocade SAN)Administration and diagnostic resolution of advanced maintenance and performance issues on Netapp Clustered Data OnTAP, NetApp Santricity, HPE 3-PAR, EMC VNX/VMAX, Cisco MDS SAN, Brocade SANAdvanced troubleshooting of common block/file protocols including iSCSI, NFS, CIFSProvisioning Storage as per internal and external customer requirementsConfigure and maintain storage infrastructure providing optimal availability, performance and best practicesEscalation point and Storage “Subject Matter Expert” within the greater Global Support Services Tier 2/3 Support and Implementation TeamLead/coordinate projects including new installations, upgrades, retrofits, security vulnerability identification and remediationUpdate logical diagrams and maintain platform and procedural documentation as per requirementFollow Change Management and overall operations processes and document as appropriateJob Requirements:Excellent Problem Solving SkillsDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentMinimum of 5 years’ experience with Storage AdministrationSolid experience with NetApp and associated technologies; NetApp Clustered Data OnTap, NetApp Santricity, NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, FlexClone, NDMP, SnapManager, SnapMirrorExperience configuring and managing Cisco SAN Fibre Channel SwitchesExperience configuring and managing Brocade DCX SAN Fibre Channel SwitchesExperience configuring and managing HPE 3Par SAN ArraysKnowledge of OS Internals (File systems, storage, process lifecycle, etc.)Demonstrated experience with VMware products and technologies and integration with enterprise storage infrastructureStrong verbal and written skillsEligible for US Public Trust Certification, US Citizenship requiredWilling to work On Call and occasional weekend workNice To Have:Previous experience in IT Call Center support environmentExperience in creating and maintaining knowledgebase articlesStorage technology related certifications or training highly desirable (NetApp, EMC, HP 3Par, Cisco SAN, Brocade SAN)Experience with scriptingExperience with IT Audits, security and risk managementExperience training or mentoring other engineers
