We are seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to manage our contract processes and agreements. This individual will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing a variety of contracts, including sales contracts, vendor contracts, and software licenses. The Corporate Counsel will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, and Finance, to ensure all contracts are compliant with company policies and procedures.WHAT YOU’LL DO
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including sales contracts, vendor contracts, and software licensesWork closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, and Finance, to ensure all contracts are compliant with company policies and proceduresDevelop and maintain contract templates and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Drive automation and efficiency across legal and business operations to streamline processesIdentify and mitigate contractual risks and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsAct as the primary point of contact for all contract-related inquiries and issuesCollaborate with the Sales team to support the sales process by providing guidance on contract terms and conditionsManage the contract review and approval process, ensuring timely execution of contractsProvide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on contract processes and proceduresDevelop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors and customersQUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; JD from an accredited U.S. law school a plusMinimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in a SaaS company or technology-focused environmentStrong knowledge of contract law, regulations, and best practicesFair, strong, concise, and balanced negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with contract management softwareDetail-oriented and highly organizedAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentPERKS
