Looking for an outstanding Staff Accountant to serve as a key member of the investment accounting team to run the day-to-day activities of the group. The Staff Accountant is responsible for the accounting for assigned investments, which includes the preparation of journal entries, wire transfers, fundings, distributions, reconciliations and analyses. The Staff Accountant reports to one or more Senior Accountants. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation of general journal entries Preparation of system generated and manual wire transfers Record monthly accruals for expenses, interest income, and other items Prepare monthly account reconciliations and reporting packages Monitor cash on a daily basis and record entries Prepare monthly bank reconciliations Calculate and prepare distributions Interact and coordinate with finance/acquisition/asset management professionals regarding budgeting/forecasting, regulatory and lender reporting, investment fundings Coordinate with internal and external auditors Qualifications:

2 – 3 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment Real estate or financial services industry experience a plus. Experience in investment management or private equity environment is desirable Proficiency in MS Excel is required Other Personal Characteristics:
