See details below:About the role:Neovera is seeking a Network Engineer to help implement and troubleshoot security and networking controls on customer premises and in the customer Data Centers. This position will report directly to the Lead Network Engineer. Escalate to senior engineers as necessary.Independent work on: Cisco ISR routers, Cisco cat and Meraki switches, and Cisco Meraki WAPsTechnical and analytical skills to handle security incidents and threatsResolve or escalate incidentsProvide timely and reliable service to customersDocument designs, solutions, processes, and proceduresRequirements

4 – 6 years of information security and networking experienceExperience doing IT Security automation with scripting and/or programming languages24×7 SOC experience working with or for an MSP and/or an MSSP is highly desirableSecurity experience with Microsoft Azure environments and security tools such as Microsoft Firewalls, Application Gateway/WAF, Network Security Groups (NSGs), VPNGateway and/or comparable 3rd party vendor security products in AzureProgramming/shell scripting experience highly desirable (Powershell, Python, Java, shell scripts, etc.)Experience with multivendor security and platforms such as Cisco ASA & FirepowerExperience with multivendor network platforms such as Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches and Cisco ISR and ASR routersCuriosity and strong desire to constantly learnBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent demonstrated experience and knowledge.Solid understanding of application, operating system, and network securityRequirement for on-call work and working in a 24x7x365 environmentKeen ability to troubleshoot technical, network, and security problemsNeovera is the trusted advisor that provides full cybersecurity and cloud services to enterprises with complex challenges and demanding regulatory requirements.
