What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):Analyze the current state of public health laboratory sectors in Africa and AsiaAdvise the Sr. Director on opportunities related to diagnostic network optimization and laboratory logisticsLead strategy development for diagnostic network optimization and laboratory logisticsProvide technical assistance, including assessments and document reviews, as requestedParticipate in meetings and discussions to support project goals

What is Required (Qualifications):Minimum of 10 years of experience in optimizing laboratory networks for infectious diseasesMinimum of 10 years of experience with USAID, PEPFAR, CDC, or similar donor-funded activitiesBachelor’s degree in medical technology, microbiology, or a related fieldProven experience providing technical assistance to public health laboratories in low and middle-income countriesKnowledge and experience in optimizing networks of diagnostic labs

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):Experience working directly with public health initiatives in various global contextsAdvanced degree in a relevant field such as public health or epidemiologyFamiliarity with global health policies and standardsStrong communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholdersPrevious experience in consultancy roles related to public health
