This role is based in our Boston office and will report directly to the Director of Data & Analytics. Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive business success and operational efficiency? If you answered yes to these questions, we invite you to apply to this role!Duties & Responsibilities:Collect data from various sources, implement performance metrics, create Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports, analyze trends, and communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to guide business decisions and strategies.Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing dashboards and reports and recommend improvements.Collaborate with stakeholders and possess the ability to respond to their requests and develop appropriate solutions.Gather business requirements and translate that into technical requirement documents.Collaborate with data architect, data engineering, project manager, and QA teams.Perform data mining and analysis to support ad-hoc requests.Perform other duties and special projects as requested by the Director and the leadership team.Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:3+ years’ experience in BI solution and data analysis.Solid hands-on experience in building Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports and writing SQL queries.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.Working knowledge of data models, database design development, data mining and related techniques.Working knowledge of finance and key performance metrics.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Adept at rapidly responding to changes in priorities and deadlines.Knowledge of Azure cloud platform is a plus.Insurance industry experience is preferred, but not required.BHSI Offers:A competitive package and exciting growth opportunities for career-oriented teammates.A dynamic, action-oriented, and thoughtful environment centered on always doing the right thing for our customers, teammates, and our other stakeholders.A purposely non-bureaucratic organization that embraces simplicity over complexity and emphasizes individual excellence in a team framework.NOTE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
