We are looking for a full-time RN Director of the Intensive Care Unit. Responsible for assisting with decision making, program planning, and implementation of patient care delivery systems which promote the safety and well-being of all patients within the system. Demonstrates sound financial knowledge and management. Facilitates the organization and management to achieve optimal patient appropriate resource utilization. Builds and maintains strategic relationships. Manages and develops high performing care delivery teams. Manages conflict and competing imperatives while building customer loyalty among physicians, employees, and the community. Possesses a requisite level of technical and professional knowledge in nursing, including exceptional leadership skills.Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BS in nursing or health-related field required; Master's degree required.Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ progressive management experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a CCU/ICU setting. Knowledge of JCAHO requirements, budget preparation and management principles, current nursing management theory and practices, infection control practices, and quality improvement practices is essential.Professional Requirement:
Current TX RN license required.Certifications:
BLS, ACLS required.Additional Information
