What will you do?The Brokerage Manager drives topline revenue growth by managing customer and carrier relationships within the truckload marketplace. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality of our sales processes and aligning our operations with strategic business needs.

Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Growth:

Drive topline revenue with existing customers and carriers.Carrier Relationships:

Develop, establish, and maintain relationships with carriers within the truckload marketplace. Identify, source, and procure new carrier relationships.Bidding on Loads:

Bid on loads for existing accounts to maximize revenue opportunities.Bidding on Carriers:

Bid on carriers to secure loads and ensure optimal service levels.Data-Driven Decisions:

Utilize data-driven resources to make informed buying decisions.Process Improvement:

Inspect sales process quality, identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement; assist with understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies, and facilitate process improvement.Strategic Campaigns:

Work closely with Operations and other internal stakeholders to understand the needs of the business and execute strategic campaigns to find customer demand to fit those needs.Market Research:

Continually research market conditions and advise leadership on potential growth opportunities within the transportation space.Employee Performance:

Manage employee performance and assist employees in making improvements through coaching, mentoring, and administering performance reviews.

What do you need?Proven experience in large-scale freight brokerage operations within a multi-billion-dollar organization.Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with carriers and customers.Proficiency in freight-related software and databases.Excellent problem-solving and creativity abilities to handle high demands.
