Apply remote type: On-siteLocation: CincinnatiTime type: Full timePosted on: Posted 5 Days AgoJob Requisition ID: JR102448As a Quality Assurance Engineer Lead, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing the reliability, functionality, and quality of our warehouse execution software. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and release managers, to design and implement comprehensive test strategies, execute test cases, and identify software defects. Your primary goal will be to guarantee a seamless and efficient warehouse execution system through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.They will work closely with the release manager and software engineers to develop and debug test conditions for the product. A successful candidate will support the product through manual testing and development of automated tests to catch bugs and resolve them. The candidate will also work with support engineers to capture defects and identify root cause and be able to pass steps and descriptions to fix themselves or work with the product team to resolve. The candidate will oversee the quality process in both automated and manual testing as well as help triage bugs for development.Your tasksSupport the development, testing and deployment of the FulfillX software productIdentify, report, and track software defects using tools such as Azure Devops or JiraPlan tests to acceptance criteria from functional requirements and manually execute test scenarios to pass themMentor Junior QA members and assist with debuggingTriage bugs and help debug if they are stuck to figure out the bugs validityWrite and generate automate tests for functional, regression, integration and performance testingCreate and maintain documentation including test cases, test data, and reports to ensure traceability and transparencyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsTravel domestically and possibly internationally, total travel estimate is 20%Support the startup of the new company.Job RequirementsTraining/Education:Business or technical degree in Computer Science, software engineering, or a similar field is preferredExcellent communication skillsProfessional Experience:3+ years of software testing2+ years of developmentExperience with SQL, SOAP, API, XML, RESTExperience with API integrationExperience with WMS/WES software platformsProven portfolio of projectsOther Experiences:Experience supporting and developing Warehouse control systems is preferredExperience with C#, React, Java, or Selenium preferredExperience with coordinating and collaborating with cross functional teams through multiple pieces of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)Detailed understanding of logistics and IT processesLeadershipMotivation to be a key member in setting up a new business (startup environment)Entrepreneurial thinking and actingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to establish effective working relationships across the boundaries and culturesSelf-driven, result oriented with positive outlook to successAdvanced trouble-shooting ability – problem solving mentalityClear focus on high quality and ensuring all the customers' needs are metYour profile
