Seeking a motivated individual with real estate and/or energy experience to join Linea Energy’s legal team in San Francisco, CA. This position will support the company’s internal and external legal counsel, as well as work with the finance, development and executive teams. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, proactive and comfortable working in a small team.Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Provide support to the Company’s legal and commercial teams with respect to the preparation, execution and administration of corporate and real estate documents.Prepare drafts of corporate governance documentation, including resolutions and written consents, and other form commercial agreements, including nondisclosure agreements.Prepare and coordinate with landowners, attorneys, and other parties for the execution of real estate documents, including lease agreements and letters of intent.Prepare checklists and timelines for ongoing processes and organize and coordinate the signing of documentation.Coordinate and review lien search results, form corporate entities and maintain foreign qualifications.Maintain an organized document file system and internal status trackers.Qualifications and Key Skills
A combination of education/experience will be considered.Minimum of 2-3 years handling corporate transactions and/or real property transactions.Experience with real property transactions and/or corporate transaction in energy preferred. Experience with transactions in general commercial transactions, banking, commercial real estate, title or title insurance may be considered.Ability to work in a small team with efficiency and ownership of individual responsibilities.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to understand, draft and navigate real property contracts.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Takes initiative, is self-motivated and able to work independently.Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment.Capable of multi-tasking and managing more than one project at a time.Ability to work within a team and to prioritize tasks and transaction deadlines.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel.Compensation and Location
