We are seeking an advanced practitioner to become a part of our team and work in our Chula Vista, CA clinic. You will focus on providing high-quality patient care. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Experience in Geriatrics, Neurology, and/or adjacent fields preferred.
Responsibilities:
In collaborative practice with the clinic neurologists and NPs, the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for Neurological patients.
The NP/PA must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision.
The NP/PA functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs).
The NP/PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, and promote safe continuity of care.
Participate in clinical meetings, provide education and support, and make appropriate referrals.
Document services rendered.
Job Qualifications:
California NP or PA license required.
DEA.
Previous experience in neurology preferred.
Ability to build rapport with patients.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership qualities.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
