We are seeking an advanced practitioner to become a part of our team and work in our Chula Vista, CA clinic. You will focus on providing high quality patient care. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Experience in Geriatrics, Neurology, and/or adjacent fields preferred.Responsibilities:
In collaborative practice with the clinic neurologists and NPs, the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for Neurological patients.The NP/PA must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision. The NP/PA functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs).The NP/PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in clinical meetings, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals.Document services rendered.Job Qualifications:
California NP or PA license requiredDEAPrevious experience in neurology preferredAbility to build rapport with patientsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership qualitiesBilingual English/Spanish preferredBenefits:
