Accountant Tax Preparer

We are looking for a skilled accountant to assist in the preparation of client financial statements, oversee books, make adjustments, corrections, etc. Must have a strong understanding of debits and credits as well as GAAP. Must be proficient in QuickBooks On-Line as well as Desktop. Must have experience in income tax preparation - individual, corporate, partnership, etc. Great listening skills and the ability to work independently are also critical. Full-Time or Part-Time options are available!Responsibilities:

Enter, adjust, reconcile, etc. accounting information and prepare financial statementsPrepare income tax returns - individual, corporate, partnership, estate, trust, etc.Communicate with clients regarding obtaining and reconciling book and tax informationWork on special projectsQualifications:

Previously with QuickBooks On-Line and Desktop, MS Office, etc.Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), of debits and credits.Experience with the preparation of financial statements and reconciling with bank and other accounts to support schedules.Bachelor's degree in accounting/related experience.3+ years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a bookkeeper.Must exhibit exemplary problem-solving, communication, time management skills, and ability to work under deadlines.Compensation:

$27 - $32 hourly
