Director of Critical Care, ICU, needed for a lovely Texas location. Client is a general acute care organization.

Candidates must be a Team Leader Director of ICU, with skills in teaching, mentoring, and leading a team of professionals. Must have strong people skills.

Responsibilities include:

Managing the Critical Care department

Hiring and firing staff

Program development

Leading and mentoring team members

Budgeting

Minimum qualifications include:

RN, BSN (Masters highly preferred)

CCRN, ACLS, BCLS, CPR certifications

5+ years as Director/Manager of ICU/CCU

Strong clinical nursing experience in critical care specialty areas

Strong accomplishments, steady work history, and strong references as a Nursing leader
