Piscataway, NJ.Role OverviewLegend Biotech USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced senior in vivo pharmacologist to join our in vivo pharmacology team responsible for conducting in vivo studies with mice and NHP to support pipeline development. This position will report directly to the Director of In vivo Pharmacology. The successful candidate should possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in conducting in vivo Pharmacology studies, especially in conducting cell-therapy based studies. The candidate should have knowledge and research experience in immunology, cancer biology, and molecular biology, have a comprehensive understanding of T/NK cell therapy, and have expertise in immune cell profiling and function assay. The candidate needs to demonstrate the ability to deliver scientific results with integrity and meet timelines, show the value of collaboration and teamwork, and provide strategy, expertise, and guidance in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct in vivo studies with mice and NHP; interact with CROs for in vivo study related activities.Interact with research teams for collaboration.Process and analyze tumor samples and tissues from mice and NHP.Analyze, summarize, review, and present data.Participate in assay development and qualification.Maintain good documentation in ELN, paper notebook, and log books.Perform additional exploratory and investigational studies with various techniques.Requirements
Ph.D. or Master's degree in biological sciences (Immunology, cell biology, and cancer biology) or related area is required.Extensive hands-on in vivo study experience is required (5 years). Expertise in various injection, bleeding, tissue collection, and processing.Extensive experience in the execution of cell-based and multi-color flow cytometry methods required.Prior experience in CAR-T/NK cell therapy development preferred.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Sense of ownership and integrity of their work.A demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.Demonstrated organizational skills including but not limited to attention to detail and multitasking.Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred but not required.Legend Biotech is a proud equal opportunity/affirmative action employer committed to attracting, retaining, and maximizing the performance of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
