This Business Analyst position will be in support of the Department of Transportation in a fast-paced, high-energy, large program to transform and modernize legacy software systems through the re-engineering of business processes to meet futuristic customer demands.The candidate will be responsible for the full system development life cycle, migration of legacy systems to the cloud, and the re-engineering of legacy processes into a business-driven enterprise solution.Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities:The candidate will build system requirements for development and implementation teams for the Department of Transportation.The individual will be responsible for compiling requirements from multiple teams and legacy systems and will work with the Systems Engineering team on preliminary designs ensuring the requirements are met.Main responsibilities will be reverse engineering existing system requirements, facilitating requirements gathering sessions, developing and maintaining use cases and supporting data requirements, developing PowerPoint presentations to support stakeholder meetings, and providing weekly status reports.The candidate will interface with other team members to ensure requirements understanding to support data modeling, development and testing tasks.Experience with CaliberRM tool desired.Minimum required qualifications:5 years of job related experience3 years United States lawful permanent residency or aboveExperience with requirements traceability and metrics tools.At least 2 – 5 years’ experience facilitating customer meetings including formulating agendas and documenting meeting notes.Experience with agile methodologies and planning tools.Experience with business process modeling and Business Process Modeling Notation.Additional Information
