Estate Planning Attorney

If you have experience in estate planning, you may be an excellent addition to our growing law firm. We are looking for a highly analytical candidate with good negotiation and organizing skills who can work full-time. As our estate planning attorney, you will draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for clients and their families. To ensure that an estate's management is handled in accordance with the wishes of the estate owner, this position requires a significant level of responsibility. Advise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance optionsAssist clients effectively by understanding their needs, analyzing the situation, then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of actionConsult clients about your plans for distributing their assetsKeep client files properly organized and up to dateCollaborate with managing attorney and paralegals to effectively move files through the estate planning processCreate wills, trusts and powers of attorneys for the firm's clientsQualifications:

Candidates should be great communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are highUndergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree requiredUnderstanding of a variety of real estate matters, including title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigationMust have worked on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 1-2 yearsMust be licensed to practice in NYCompensation:

$98,500 - $110,000 yearly
