Together, we push the boundaries of science to make more possible for our customers.Your Role:As a Senior Process Safety Engineer in our semiconductor R&D environment, you will provide leadership and technical expertise to continuously improve Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Programs (RMP) by identifying process hazards, evaluating hazard risk, and working with engineering and operations teams to develop effective solutions.Your responsibilities are as follows:Lead Process Safety Analysis (PHA) of facilities and systems using HAZOP, What-If and FMEA techniques.Lead Process Safety Revalidations of existing systems and processes, including research & development.Lead Pre Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) for new and existing systems.Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and incident investigations.Own the Management of Change (MOC) process, tracking and documentation.Develop Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) using Fault Tree, LOPA methods and consequence modeling.Create and maintain Mechanical Integrity Programs including Risk Based Inspection.Coordinate site audits and issue management related to external organizations CGA, NFPA, HSE, OSHA, SEMI etc.Generate thorough safety reports related to OSHA, EPA and local regulations.Guide waste management and abatement strategies.Develop PSM and RMP training material and facilitates training of site personnel.Who you are:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field.6+ years of directly relevant work experience.Experienced with common hazard analysis techniques.Proficient with industry standard risk assessment methodologies.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Process Hazard Analysis techniques, particularly HAZOP, FMEA and What-If studies.Proficient with quantitative and semi-quantitative Risk Assessments, including an understanding of techniques like LOPA and FTA/ETA.Ability to interpret technical documentation such as Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures, Interlocks, and control narrative etc.Strong interpersonal skills including confident, supportive, collaborative, respectful communication.Knowledgeable and experienced with relevant safety and environmental regulations in the semiconductor industry organizations CGA, NFPA, HSE, OSHA, SEMI etc.Familiar with basic Safety Integrity Level (SIL) identification.Experienced managing contractor safety programs.Expertise with Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work, and Confined Space Entry.Pay Range for this position:

$73,000 - $219,000Our ranges incorporate all levels and career types available within this specific role, and are derived from relevant industry market data. Should we decide to make an offer, we will consider several factors, including but not limited to your location, skills, experience, career level, and other job-related factors.
