We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management.Our founders are hardcore telecommunications engineers with combined 200+ years of experience in designing, optimizing and performance engineering; for several mid-large wireless carriers internationally - that saw a need to provide low power, cost efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions. We have combined these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to provide clients various options to decrease re-occurring costs associated with operating an IoT network of sensors and connected devices.We specialize in design, deployment, optimization, and support of these Networks. Whether an off-the-shelf or custom solution is needed, we’ll create a solution and push the data on the best cloud platform to fit your needs, including your own.Location: Dfw Airport-TX-USAThe engineer will perform pro-active work within the environment to maintain best practices and keep a steady state. The engineer will be responsible for establishing standards and best practices for network systems. The engineer will serve as the highest escalation point within the support team for network systems. This will include troubleshooting and resolution of re-active incidents as well as root cause determination analysis for customer incidents. The engineer must possess a high technical aptitude and be able to logically step through a problem even when dealing with unfamiliar environments and products. The engineer will be available for escalations during and after regular business hours. They will communicate with service managers and customers as needed regarding incidents and changes. The network engineer must be able to communicate well in written and verbal forms.Qualified candidates MUST possess the following:8+ years of network experience with Cisco firewalls, routers and switches.4+ years of experience with hardware load balancer administration and support.Expert level understanding and experience with routing and switching technologies.Expert level understanding and experience with 802.1q, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLAN, MPLS.Expert level knowledge of firewall management, preferably with Cisco PIX/ASA firewalls and/or Citrix NetScaler Load Balancers and the technologies.Expert level understanding and experience with IPSEC VPN(s) tunnels.Expert TCP/IP packet analysis, using Wireshark or raw packet captures using tcpdump.Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, with logical problem solving from Layer 1 through Layer 7 of the OSI model.Strong understanding of troubleshooting techniques.Exhibits mature organization and time management skills.US Citizen ONLYFinger Print RequiredSecurity Clearance required or the ability to get cleared.
