Environmental Health and Safety ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team at our facility located in Sparks, NV, 89434. As the Environmental Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations to create a safe and sustainable work environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage ISO 14001 certification process and ensure ongoing compliance
Analyze data to identify and prioritize continuous improvement of plant EHS Key Performance Indicators
Prepare all required internal and external environmental reports (e.g., Tier II, form R, bi-annual waste, emission inventory, etc.)
Develop and implement safety programs and policies to prevent accidents and injuries
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards
Train employees on proper handling of hazardous materials and emergency response procedures
Coordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all environmental health and safety laws
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field
Experience with ERP software for environmental health and safety management
ISO 14001 certification experience, preferred
Knowledge of hazardous materials and proper handling procedures
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
