Software EngineerOn behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Folsom, CA.Software Engineer Job DetailsDevelopment and support of a custom test automation system in support of Solid-State Drive (SSD) firmware continuous integration testing. PHP (web) and MySQL are the primary technologies.Duties include:Development to requirements/acceptance criteriaUnit-level testing to ensure proper functionalityDebug/support for software developedEngineer will be part of an Agile Scrum team working on a bi-weekly sprint cadence. Requirements and acceptance criteria are often vague/unclear, so engineer must be comfortable rapidly prototyping to gain clarity and user acceptance.Software Engineer Mandatory SkillsRequires EXPERT-LEVEL skills/experience in these technologies with expectation that engineer will ramp very quickly on an existing complex web/database application and be able to engage in feature development with little or no documentation/training/direction.
