Must Have:BS in Computer Science or related fieldMinimum 7+ years in Scala server backend development in Services (not Data Analytics)Solid experience and deep understanding of Scala programming, JVM, sbtCandidate should be willing to embrace Pure Functional Programming with ScalaDevelopment and Implementation of highly scalable, secure and concurrent software systems using HTTP, REST, WebServer, Caching, Resiliency, Responsive and Concurrency strategiesAt least one Scala WebService SDK – Play, http4s, Spray or any other REST APIsExperience using Agile framework tools and methodologiesExperience in AWS Cloud Infrastructure (Preferred) or any other Cloud infrastructureExperience with Linux Operating SystemsNice to Have:Experience with other Scala SDKs like ScalaZ, Shapeless, CATSExperience in Docker containerization technologiesExperience with NoSQL databases (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB, Hbase)Experience with scripting/automation programmingExperience with some Performance testing tools/scripts – like Gatling, Jmeter
