Requirement:Title: Senior Software Systems EngineerLocation: Irving, TXDuration: 6 MonthsFinance Data lake is a strategic enterprise initiative to centralize all ERP and supply chain data into a Hadoop big data platform and enable reporting, analytics, and self-service discovery capabilities.Consultant should have extensive experience in PeopleSoft ERP functional knowledge, data structure, and transactional relationships between the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Asset Management, Purchasing, Sourcing, Labor, and time modules.Experience in building PS queries, delivering complex analytics, and reporting to provide ever-changing business requirements.Experience & expertise in automated testing & reconciliation reporting efforts is desirable.Responsible for working with the Financial Data Lake Team and business users on requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, and coordination of UAT (User Acceptance Testing).Responsible for evaluating FDL related objects, analyzing business processes, identifying, documenting solutions related to project tasks, activities, identifying issues, and providing timely resolutions.Experienced in Agile processes, Jira, requirements analysis, design, development, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Experienced in planning, scheduling, and conducting gap analysis sessions for analytics, metrics, and reports at the enterprise level.Advanced proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint for analytics and presentation.Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving verbal, and communication skills.Proven ability to work under pressure on multiple assignments with strong attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide others to further develop individual and team skills.Good to have working knowledge of Hadoop big data reporting and analytical tools (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Tableau, Excel) with the ability to perform in-depth analysis of large datasets to identify root causes of issues and resolutions.Minimum 4-year degree.Vendor to supply laptop. Laptop requirements:minimum 8GB RAM,Office 2010 or higher,Symantec Endpoint Protection software.
