Candidates must have strong hospital experience as Director in a hospital of at least 100 beds, with a steady work history. Strong budgeting, staffing, mentoring, and leading the entire department are essential.
Director of Medical Imaging, ARRT, BS, Masters highly preferred for a beautiful Texas Hospital.
Responsibilities include:
Developing, implementing, and evaluating policies, standards, educational services, and programs that support the department.
Demonstrating initiatives in developing, implementing, and analyzing quality improvement activities and outcomes of the department.
Developing and submitting budget assumptions, capital, and annual budgets for the departments. Monitoring variances on a monthly basis and developing corrective action as needed.
Initiating activities to enhance revenues.
Minimum requirements include:
Must hold a current certificate in C.P.R.
Must hold a current certificate in areas required for clinical field.
Must hold a current license for clinical specialty as required in the state of Texas.
This position plays a key role in emergency preparedness/response at the hospital and is required to complete the NIMS training courses for Healthcare within 90 days of hire (NIMS 100, 200, 700 & 800 certification).
