Reporting to the VP of Global Compensation, Benefits and Mobility, the Sr Director of Executive Compensation will partner directly with our CEO, EA Executive Team and Chief Talent Officer to lead and deliver our executive compensation programs and prepare proposals for Compensation Committee and Board approval.The successful candidate will have a proven career in Compensation and a clear passion for Executive Compensation. This role is ideal for an individual accustomed to working in a rapidly-changing, high growth environment with strengths in providing guidance and expertise to Executives and other business partners, while being fully capable of making tough decisions and acting on them as appropriate. Direct experience working in the high technology software or entertainment industry is desirable.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead moderate to complex projects covering key areas of executive compensation and drive their delivery on time and in budget in a fast-paced environment.Assist with the preparation and coordination of materials for Compensation Committee Meetings, including competitive data and plan design alternatives and implications.Develop strategic partnerships with Finance, HR and Legal to understand their strategies and executive compensation objectives and ensure executive compensation programs are fully understood.Monitor current or upcoming regulations for Proxy and peer executive compensation trends.Monitor, track and report on legislation, regulations and media articles pertaining to compensation.Provide directional compensation philosophy leadership for the team and support decision-making by providing compensation alternatives and/or recommendations.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experience in a public company in a similar role.Global experience, multiple countries, regions.Large, public company exposure, comfortable and experienced with complexity.Significant compensation and benefits plan technical experience, as well as tax and regulatory knowledge in varied countries.Knowledgeable on legislation impacting pay programs. Maintains awareness of economic and pay practice trends within industry.Solid foundation in compensation theories and practices. Knowledge in SOX and regulatory compliance.Highly skilled at analyzing, formatting and presenting compensation data in a clear and concise manner.Interpersonal skills that support effective communication across groups and at the Executive level.Education/Professional Accreditations
B.A., MBA, or B.S. from an accredited institution, preferably in Business or Economics.CANDIDATE DETAILS
5+ to 7 years experience.Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree.IDEAL CANDIDATE
High energy, confident and well spoken. Previous experience as a consultant is preferred, in-house experience with a publicly traded mid-size company a must. Experience interacting with top executives and board a must. Tech company experience in Silicon Valley a must.Additional Information
