Represent clients in insurance defense litigation, encompassing property, casualty, and liability claims.Conduct comprehensive legal research and skillfully draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.Engage actively in all phases of litigation, from discovery and depositions to trial preparation and resolution.Offer clients astute legal counsel, strategize cases effectively, and negotiate settlements on their behalf.Attend various legal proceedings including court hearings, trials, and mediations as necessitated by cases.Maintain meticulous and up-to-date case files and documentation.Collaborate closely with colleagues and support staff to ensure streamlined case management.Remain abreast of changes in insurance law and relevant legal precedents.Requirements
Possession of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in the state of Colorado.2-7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, demonstrating a proven track record of successful case outcomes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, coupled with effective interpersonal skills.Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team setting.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Dedication to maintaining the highest ethical standards in legal practice.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications
Active membership in good standing with the Colorado State Bar.Skills
