The ideal candidate should have 4-7 years of experience with domestic and foreign trademark counseling, clearance and prosecution, including:Drafting goods and services descriptionsPreparation of substantive responses to U.S. trademark actionsProviding instructions to foreign associates concerning foreign trademark actionsPreparing and responding to cease and desist lettersHandling online and traditional enforcement and anti-counterfeiting mattersCounseling clients regarding privacy mattersAddressing social media, online marketing, and traditional advertising and promotionsPreparing pleadings and responding to discovery requests in federal court trademark litigation casesIP licensing experience and/or exposure to IP issues in corporate transactions is a plusThis is the ideal job for a creative and enthusiastic person who is looking to take charge of their own career and enjoy life in the process.Candidate must have a strong academic background, excellent writing skills, and strong abilities in fact-finding, legal analysis, creative problem-solving, and time management.
