Hypower is currently seeking a Senior Superintendent to join our Commercial Electrical Division. The salary range is $130,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.SUMMARYThe Senior Superintendent is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the electrical activities and field labor of a specific project. This role is primarily a field position, with the expectation that at least 95% of your time is spent on jobsites performing essential duties and responsibilities while adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety programs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Prioritize safety in all labor management activities, rigorously enforcing safety protocols.Ensure high-quality standards in all project aspects, from task execution to material selection.Manage and oversee all aspects of labor productivity, including the development of task codes and methods of budgeting.Collaborate with Project Executive and Project Manager to determine labor requirements and projections.Develop contractor relationships and communicate professionally with field personnel.Attend contractors project meetings and proactively engage in discussions.Collaborate with Project Manager to develop, maintain, and track project schedules.Organize and plan all labor, tools, material, equipment, and information needed to meet commitments.Provide technical advice and resolve field problems.Oversee and supervise Assistant Superintendents and Foreman.Participate in creating VDC drawings/prefab review meetings.Review and approve drawings for accuracy and determine prefab opportunities.Oversee processes, best practices, quality control, and safety standards implementation.Review, analyze, and understand technical plans, blueprints, submittals, and specifications.Perform job walks daily and document any issues or constraints.Identify staff strengths and weaknesses and recommend training opportunities.The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position.
