Our client is seeking to fill a Sr. SBA Credit Analyst role in the Los Angeles, CA market. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and underwriting new SBA guarantee term loans in a competitive and expedient manner while complying with the SBA underwriting standards, policies, and applicable state federal laws, rules, and regulations. This position requires developing and maintaining a customer-focused relationship with SBA Partners by exhibiting a high level of collaboration, timely communication, and prompt response to inquiries.This position comes with a generous salary of up to $90K and an enviable benefits package.Sr. SBA Credit Analyst responsibilities include:Spreading the financial information for SBA loans including ratio analysis and preparing a written report analyzing the data, the borrower’s ability to service the debt, cash flow requirements, and the strengths and weaknesses of the credit.Ensuring loan packages are complete prior to submission to underwriting.Conducting SBA term loan review and proposing a risk rating upgrade/downgrade if applicable.Monitoring and collecting signed commitment letters and fees.Ordering 3rd party reports (appraisals, environmental assessments, business valuations, etc.)Assisting in sending out credit covenants reminders to SBA loan customers for collecting tax returns and financials for term loan review.Assisting in preparing or coordinating for SBA Desk Audit and PLP renewal.Conferring with lenders and borrowers about their loan requests and any questions that must be answered prior to submission.Attending Loan committees to provide commentary as needed by the lender in support of the loan request.Adhering to and complying with policies, procedures, applicable state and federal laws and regulatory guidance.Participating in job-specific and other various bank training programs as required.Performing other related duties as requested or assigned.Who Are You?

Where a job title is not considered the final definition of who you are, but merely the starting point for your future.You also bring the following skills and experience:Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Three or more years of SBA credit and underwriting experience.Five or more years of related finance or business analyst experience.Work-related experience should consist of SBA underwriting duties with a financial institution background.Strong critical thinking, organization, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills with an attention-to-detail focus.Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities, meet strict timelines, and interact effectively at all levels.Proficiency in Windows PC environment and Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Excel products.The next step is yours.
