Responsibilities you’ll have as a MicroAge Account Executive:
Achieve the established sales targetsDevelop new clients and maintain existing relationships through prospecting, outbound calls, emails, or face-to-face interactionEvaluate your client’s technology issues and offer a variety of solutions to solve themManage your client accounts from beginning to end (prospecting, billing, renewals, etc.); be engrained in the success of your client’s business growthBuild relationships with manufacturing and distribution partnersAttend training courses and complete certifications to continuously build technical knowledgePossess a strong working knowledge of the sales process and programs utilized by suppliersTravel may be required as neededThe knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be successful:
Previous experience in selling Information Technology is required for consideration. Value-added reseller (VAR) and Managed Services Provider (MSP) experience is highly preferred3+ years’ experience selling computer hardware & software products, solutions, and services to mid-market end users required. Telecom, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Services experience is a plusCross-market IT infrastructure/industry knowledge is required (HP Enterprises, HP Inc., Dell, EMC, VMware, Cisco, Lenovo, Microsoft, Apple, etc.)A proven track record of successfully bringing in net-new business is requiredAble to work independently, self-motivated, and possess a strong desire for financial success!Able to work and communicate clearly in a technical environmentAdditional qualities good for this role:
Learns continuously and seeks to analyze and understand technology and businessCommunicates clearly and helps others understand complex technical mattersBuilds trusting relationships, internally and externally, and establishes collaborative partnershipsPlans and organizes well, has an eye for detail, and shows a great deal of focus and persistencePassionate about technology and people?
