Assist with growing and building the MicroAge Azure services practiceWork with current and prospective clients to complete paid Azure discoveries as well as architect and design Azure solutions to meet business needsAssist with the setup, implementation, and configuration of Azure Professional Services as neededEffectively work with multiple external clients on various opportunities, projects, systems, and demandsProvide guidance and direction to Service Engineers I, II, and III’sWork to confidently influence the client and recommend alternative solutions in a professional mannerEnable clients to get the most out of their technology; help them work smarter, not harderThe knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be successful:
5+ years experience deploying Azure Infrastructure (Compute/Storage/Network)2+ years of consulting and architecting Azure solutionsStrong attention to detail, outstanding resourcefulness, flexibility, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team settingAbility to work independently in a consultative role working with all levels of client management (including C-Suite)Experience leading paid client-facing business strategy and discovery meetings, adapting to and interpreting client input and business needs, leading them toward an Azure solutionAffinity for developing strong business relationships across multiple levels of an organizationRely on strong problem-solving skills to understand and resolve both simple and complex technical issuesFollow company processes and standards to ensure efficient workflow and quality resultsStrong understanding of Azure practices, concepts, and solutions and how they influence and impact businessesDetailed knowledge of Azure concepts, including VNets and other network resources, security groups, Availability Zones/Sets/Groups, Azure Site Recovery, ExpressRoute, Virtual Machines, App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Monitor, Azure Resource Manager, PowerShell, etc.Perform hands-on tasks in the Azure Portal and on Windows/Linux VMs, as well as create/modify/execute Infrastructure as Code templates and scriptsResponsible for contributing to the planning, architecture, execution, and validation of migrations to the cloudUnderstanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such as Azure AD, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, SSO, Azure AD Proxy, SAMLHands-on experience architecting and deploying Microsoft Azure environments, including hybrid scenarios, optimizing cost, proper monitoring, scaling, implementing, and validating database, server, virtual desktop & DR scenarios, and Azure securityFamiliarity with Microsoft Cloud Adoption FrameworkAVD:VDI platform migration (Citrix, Horizon, RDS, etc.)VDI profile solutions (FSLogix)Administration and problem-solvingAVD Automation (Scaling, Image building (Azure Image Builder, Packer, etc.), PowerShell scripting, Python, etc.)Azure SQL solutions (looking for some or all)Managed Instance, SQL DB, SQL on VMnoSQL (Postgres, cosmos DB, etc.)Provisioning and managing Blob, Azure Files, AD integrationIdentity Management (Azure AD, AADDS, ADFS, etc.)Design, provision, and manage compute, database, network, and storagePowerShell scripting experienceExperience with IAC technology such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM, etc.Relevant Microsoft certifications including AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-304, AZ-500Why work at MicroAge?
