Job Description: Well-established Orthopedic Group seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The new Physician Assistant will work directly with a Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon. This position will include three days in the clinic and two days in the OR. This doctor has a very successful and growing practice and handles a high volume of lower extremity cases and fracture care.Responsibilities include:First assistH&P’sWrite scriptsCoordinate with PT/OTConsultationRoundingEvent coverageDischarge summariesThey are located in a modern facility and have their own PT/OT onsite. There is also an opportunity to work in orthopedic urgent care ($125 per hour). Call is paid and minimal.Successful Physician Assistants should be NCCPA-Certified. The doctor will train a new graduate with an orthopedic rotation, and preference is for candidates from the region. The location is within the greater Hartford area, which has solid school systems and is a terrific location to raise a family. Physician Assistants must be from the region.Salary:
