Full Time, Day Shift; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PST; Remote Hybrid - 3x a week in the office
General Summary:
Swedish Foundation is looking for a skilled Senior Philanthropy Officer to secure gifts at the $50,000+ levels for one or more of the Foundation's priority Institutes or Enterprises. Our mission is to raise funds to improve the health and well-being of each person served within the Swedish Medical Center System. The Senior Philanthropy Officer will contribute to our mission through engaging and partnering with physician champions, Board of Governors, high-level volunteers, and Foundation colleagues to build and grow relationships with prospective and current donors.
Responsibilities:- Engage in prospect research and discovery work.- Develop effective solicitation strategies.- Steward donors throughout the moves management process.- Maintain a thorough background in fundraising best practices and donor databases for managing donor and solicitation records.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educ/experience- 5 years Development or sales experience- Experience in a major, decentralized institution, preferably health care or higher education
