Our team is dedicated to delivering products that exceed our customers' expectations, while always pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the world of protection technology.Arlo is seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Release Manager who will manage releases across mobile, web, cloud, and firmware. They will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure releases will ship on time, every time, with the correct features.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and manage the release strategy, incorporating best practices and industry standards.Coordinate and oversee the release of software, mobile apps, firmware, and web applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, DevOps, and product management to ensure alignment and successful delivery.Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of releases, ensuring minimal disruption to the business and users.Establish and maintain release processes and procedures.Monitor and track the progress of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and any issues are promptly addressed.Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and project retrospectives.Ensure robust and proven plans for rollback, hotfixes, and emergency releases are in place.Continuously improve the release management process through feedback, reviews, and analysis.Manage risk and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and clear guidance.Qualifications:Proven experience (5+ years) in release management.Strong understanding of cloud platforms AWS, mobile development (iOS, Android), firmware updates, and web technologies.Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins).Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.Strong leadership abilities and experience managing cross-functional teams.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and technologies.Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) is an advantage.Arlo is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including bonus, equity, and a full range of benefits.
