Description:This role will be responsible for effective data quality analysis, operation & validation, develop partnerships with numerous business stakeholders, and drive/evolve education related to data governance rules and best practices.

In this position, you will support data quality enhancement by implementing data quality control measures and advise on best practices to reduce/resolve data anomalies. A significant part of this role will be carrying out research, defining and documenting best practices, and executing related data quality tasks to support the company in maintaining and managing data accuracy and integrity by proactively analyzing data to support organizational goals.

Primary Job Responsibilities:Develop rules and process to control the integrity (accuracy, thoroughness, process compliance) of all data within Company's databases.Work with Master Data Management tools to ensure quality, integrity, and effective use of data.Directly support and assist in managing data governance by identifying, prioritizing and implementing change while providing status updates measuring impacts across various projects.Support internal teams by providing ongoing & ad-hoc data concierge services and conducting effective research via web/subscribed research sites and present timely information as required.Analyze daily health of the data reporting operations. Identify and develop insight to reduce data quality issues and process gaps.Be responsible to appropriate stakeholders for timely delivery & completion of assigned projects.Document data dictionaries and business requirements for key workflows and process points.Evaluate data and resolve data quality issues by analyzing gaps in process and source files. Help identify and develop insight to reduce data quality issues.Recommend process improvements & suggest alternatives for continuous enhancement of existing workflow.Keep current with and train organization on data quality best practices. Inform and guide stakeholders regarding data availability, caveats and limitations to business unit brands (subject matter expert).Manage business data dictionary for master data and reporting metadata and metrics glossary.Investigate new data sources, and set policies for future data collection to support business decisions.Triage data investigations to IT or third party supplier and communicate impact/root cause/resolution to stakeholders.Perform data analysis related to investigations and data quality control.Lead Data Governance process with external and internal data providers to ensure timely, accurate and complete commercial data.Manage the identification and implementation of KPIs and metrics to ensure third party compliance to data requirements.Manage business priorities while driving process improvements and data quality enhancements.Work with ETL developers to ensure timeliness of external data.This role will demonstrate proficiency with the principles and methodologies of process improvement and apply these in the execution of responsibilities in support of a process focused approach.Other duties as assigned.

Requirement:6+ years of Healthcare data management experience (typically may substitute some years of experience with a Master's degree; for example, Master's plus 5+ years in Healthcare Management experience).Strong knowledge of data quality management and best practices.Advanced SQL (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), Mongo, and ETL Data Warehouse experience for Business Intelligence.Demonstrated experience with SAS or other statistical packages; Excel, Access or other database environments.Working knowledge of data governance processes and SDLC.Project management experience.Understanding of data requirements gathering and ability to translate business requirements from stakeholders to technical development team.Exposure to popular master data management tools and best practices.A good general understanding of healthcare operations, along with excellent research skills.Must possess strong communication (verbal and written), research and interpersonal skills as well as excellent time-management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to be highly productive and efficient in a team driven environment.Must have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, an investigative mentality, organizational and logic skills.Experience with managing, monitoring and scoring data quality in a transactional environment.Proven capability to gather, manage and synthesize large amounts of information efficiently, effectively and creatively with maniacal attention to detail.Background in report creation and spreadsheet analysis.

Education:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence or a related discipline.
