Mayo Clinic Health System is seeking an enthusiastic Gastroenterologist to join our Mayo Clinic owned regional medical center. The Mayo Clinic Health System is comprised of 23 clinics and 6 hospitals in a 12 county area of southern Minnesota. Our hospitals, specialty centers, and clinics are physician-led and team-oriented. As a member of our team, you’ll be part of extraordinary professional development opportunities, clinical expertise, and cutting-edge research activities conducted at Mayo Clinic.Our growing regional practice serves a community of 300,000+. We have 270 (and growing) practicing physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners employed by our organization in the city and community medical centers throughout the region. We are the site of the Rural Family Practice Residency for the University of Minnesota.Practice Opportunity Details• Multispecialty Clinic & integrated hospital owned by Mayo Clinic• Helicopter based here 24/7, certified level III trauma services• Call 1:5• Employed position with two-year salary guarantee concurrent with RVU plan• Paid malpractice, dental, health, disability, life insurance, and relocation• 4-6 weeks vacation, 1-2 weeks CME• CME stipend ($5,000)• Additional $1,500 for dues, fees, and memberships• Balance between work and free time while earning a highly competitive salaryCity:• Brand New Facility• Working toward Level II Trauma Center, Higher acuity trauma• Safe community with exceptional school systems rated in the top 16% in the Nation• Regional retail and business hub• Progressive college community• Outstanding four-season recreational activities and many other fine quality of life characteristics for the whole family: Over 50 miles of paved trails, arts, symphony, theatre, ballet• Beautiful river valley with 16 lakes minutes away, breathtaking landscapes with ravines, bluffs, and forested areas• 75 minutes south of Minneapolis/St. Paul• Your dollar will go further here:• Average cost of living is 8.7% less than MN average• Average cost of living is 5.2% less than the US average
