We provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide, supporting the US Department of Defense (DOD) and other US federal agencies.Key Responsibilities:

Provide new construction architectural design services including concept and project development and scoping.Prepare floor plans, elevations, schematics, and renderings.Conduct feasibility and environmental impact studies as part of pre-design services.Select a site or specify design requirements.Prepare drawings and present ideas for client review.Develop final construction plans detailing the building’s appearance and construction details.Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other ordinances.Execute necessary changes throughout the planning and design processes.Conduct selected construction inspections and quality control.Attend meetings as required.Perform other qualified duties as assigned.Qualifications:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is required.Minimum five (5) years of experience in the design/construction field.Bachelor's degree in architecture from a NAAB accredited program.Registered Architect (RA) license preferred.Proficient in AutoCAD 2012 or later and other Architect-Engineer graphic software.Experience in developing plans, statements of work, designs, specifications, cost estimates, and scheduling for facility engineering projects.Knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment.Ability to make independent decisions on facility design problems.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and as part of an engineering team.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Planate Management Group is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
